Digester's Reader 2.2 allows you to quickly read the contents of mailing list digests that are created using LSoft's Listserv(tm) software, Majordomo's mailing list software, or Yahoo! Groups. Here's a picture of what the application looks like, when viewing a digest from the TECHWR-L mailing list:
The features of the application enable you to:
view the various subject lines in a tree structure, so you can read the posts to the topics that interest you, without having to scroll through those that don't
read any digest from any mailing list
open multiple digests at once
cut and paste the contents of a digest directly into the application (or open a digest saved as a text file)
create reply messages in your MAPI-compatible email client from within the Digester's Reader
merge threads that have different names, but which fall under a single category
delete threads from a digest, and then save the modified digest
export individual threads to their own files
view the context-sensitive onilne help in either traditional WinHelp format, or the new HTML Help.
Download Digester's Reader 2.2. (979 Kb).
Extract the contents of the zip file to a temporary directory on your hard drive.
Run the extracted Setup.exe file.
Set your account to digest mode.
Set your account setting to NOMIME.
